November 28, 2021November 28, 2021 Rachel Dunston 1 comment

I was raised around a Grandmother who can BAKE. She is known for her pies, and cinnamon rolls in particular.

So when I give you a cinnamon roll recipe, trust that it is a good one. Hope you like it!

  • 1 c. warm water 110 degrees
  • 3/4 c. warm whole milk 110 degrees

  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 5 1/2-6 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. butter melted
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon

  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1-2 Tbsp. milk

  • Brush dough with 1/4c. melted butter. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over dough. You can add rasins, if that is your bag baby.
  • Roll dough, jelly roll style. Make sure you end with the seam down on the counter. Cut into 12 slices.
  • Grease a 9×13 in pan, and place cut rolls into pan. Cover with a greased cling wrap and allow to rise for an additional 30 min.
  • Bake at 350 for 18-22 min. or until golden brown.
  • In a bowl, wish together icing ingredients. Spread over warm rolls. Serve warm. Store at room temp for 3 days, covered.
